RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS

  • 9 rounds Rapid Chess Open Tournament by Swiss System
  • Time control: 2 x 20 minutes with increment of 5 seconds per move
  • Tie break – Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz, SB, Direct Encounter, Greatest number of wins, Number of wins with black
  • Results are not rated on the ELO list
  • The number of participants is limited to 100
  • All games are played in 3 different venues – Houseboat, Kumarakom Resort, Thekkady Resort
  • FIDE rules and regulations will apply
